Wanted my hedge trimmer looked at as wouldn't start, the old man said it was just a petrol leak, come to use it today and it's leaking petrol everywhere and to charge 60 beware save your money and go somewhere that know what they are doing.
Hedgetrimmer sorted first thing on a Monday morning whilst I waited, so able to use it in the afternoon on my garden customers hedges.This was my first visit to Young's Machinery, where I was welcomed by Nick. His no nonsense approach to mending aforementioned trimmer was very professional. He retrived a couple of nuts and bolts, to fix those rattled loose, from labelled boxes on workshop shelves as high as the ceiling. Blades tightened, now onto pull start which had snapped, sorted after fiddling with a few coiled springs the trimmer pulled back into action, Hooray.Exhaust on machine a bit worn too, but advised for cost of parts and labour, think about new machine in the future. Bought a husqvarna strimmer. Bill and Nick couldnt be more helpful. Explained how to use and look after it because im a total novice in gardening equipment! Got good mates rates. Will certainly buy all my gardening equipment in future from here. Happy days! Would definately recomend them.Colin Pang
