Brilliant clinic, Angela is an amazing practitioner. Wouldnt take my face anywhere else!
My partner looked into having injections done at home via their practitioner Angela Kelso, but was told via text, that this is not an option now due to new legislation. With having had home treatments from others, she advised her of this and asked which legislation, to which there no reply. We searched online and found out that any trained practitioners can operate in a mobile manner, so long as they are properly registered with the correct paperwork with: Healthcare Improvement Scotland. HIS have confirmed this to us. My partner text Angela to let her know - after all, her personal website advertise her as a mobile practitioner - precisely why she was contacted. So we gave her the heads up in case she didn't know. Finding it unusual that a nurse with her years of experience didn't seem to know (or refused to give this information) we contacted Health Improvement Scotland again via email, who confirmed (and we still have the email) that Angela not only knows, but has been asked now 3 times to get registered, and has failed to do so. Everyone considering cosmetic enhancements should contact H.I.S to make sure the practitioner is registered and recognised. Things are tightening up in this industry and it is getting more regulated. After having a look on Clinc22 facebook page, my partner decided not to pursue a treatment with Angela or anyone at the clinic, as most of the pictures look overly enhanced and unnatural. This is very worrying. People need to be wary of glowing reviews on facebook, as the salon or practitioner generally controls the page and can delete negative reviews, with only positive remaining.
