Good service and helpful

Very clean, bright station. Half hourly service to Glasgow Central and every 2 hours to Carlisle and Stranraer.

Nice enough station, only let down by the train service to Glasgow which was an abortion of a service which seemed to chop and change the intermediate stops on a whim. As for the destination boards, they'd be as well showing a trailer for peppa pig, it would be more believable.

An utterly lovely station in a fantastic town. Very fascinating Viaduct next to it
