Midwifes ( especially Elaine)are amazing as is a slight few of the Dr.s such as Dr Podar & Paxton. However Dr's such as Norton and Dr Stewart are a complete joke with no idea what preganancy procedure is in their own practice . If you're late for an appointment by 5mins you're appointment will be cancelled but be expected to wait 40 minutes after you're slot for Dr Wallace. All of this I could deal with if it wasn't for the new receptionisits. Extreemly rude and deffensive. Basically phone you trying to argue. I have been with the doctors since a child and even when living all over Scotland kept to this surgery as was always a brilliant doctors but all the new staff have really ruined it. My self and son are now looking for a new doctors.

The new appointment system is disgraceful.I work Monday to Friday 9-5 and don't have an opportunity to call from 8.30am as I am already in work setting up for the day, Like most I can't just leave my work whenever I feel like it!At least with the old system you might have been waiting weeks but you knew your issue would be dealt with and gave you a chance to try and get the time off in advance.Who I fear for are the vulnerable and the elderly as they also expect them to do the same just call up constantly till they answer to then be told if it's not an emergency call again tomorrow.I managed to get through one morning just after 9 and was told I should have called from half 8...Well obviously I was but too busy to answer! The staff have always been great but the good reputation the wards once had has gone down hill.

Decent practice but the new appointment system is a shambles i'm at work at 08.30 in the morning therefore its impossible to call. So when do i get an appointment? Was bad enough waiting 4 weeks before but at least i knew when i was seeing a doctor. Dont really want to change practices as i have been here for a long time but don't see much of an option. Two stars for the customer facing staff who have to put up with complaints regarding the new appointment system.

Really unhappy with the new appointment system. Can never get an appointment, every time I've called for an emergency I get a call back to say phone back again tomorrow. It is ridiculous! Was a good practice until the appointment system changed. Don't know what has happened that every appointment is filled every single day...

Since changing their appointment system in March this year, now they have none. If you want an routine appointment with a GP you have to start calling at 8.30am and then constantly redial till you get an answer, to then be told you need to call back tomorrow morning as all the appointments are gone. How is this improving patient care
