The coldest day in Scotland this winter but not as cold as the reception you'll get here at Arnold Clark Rental. Hopeless and unknowledgeablefemale, very rude, no p's or q's, pathetic handover. Wipers frozen to screen. Windscreen washers faulty had to keep stopping to clean screens on 150 mile motorway drive. The DS3 doesn't make a good rental car, cramped, uncomfortable, noisy, terriblevisibility, a chore to drive.Worst rental experience ever. I'll won't use Arnold Clark rental again.Avoid.
Some reasonable looking cars and some of them at good prices. I personally wouldn't buy a car from A C garages as I believe a lot are either ex rental cars or repaired accident damaged ones.
Had a really positive experience buying my first car from here. Jen was really helpful, answered all my questions, got the paperwork out the way swiftly and got me on the road asap. Even managed to talk me into getting the hybrid, and really glad of it a few months in. Haven't had any problems, so can't comment on how they are at resolving them, but I'll take the absence as a good sign!

Unfortunately the car was not to expectation on day of collection. The staff were great though, so patient and tried their best to re-assure me. They really cared and made sure I wasn't made to feel pressured at any point. There was no quibble with returning my money either. Ian, Ricky, David all great and generous with their time.
